I have a pre-facelift Leon 280 and would like a new front bumper. After watching a few videos of dismantling, it looks like the facelift bumper has exactly the same bolts and attachment points.

Has anyone tried fitting a facelift bumper onto their pre-facelift car?

I mainly want it to fit the R fog wings.

Facelift requires new headlights, new bonnet and new grill.

If you're happy to pay for all those bits, the facelifted lights have a different wiring loom to connect them. Not sure if that is because there are more sensors for their auto levelling (I could be wrong but think there are 2 sensors front and rear for the facelift lights).

So sadly its not a cheap or easy plug and play job.

Thanks mate that’s helped a lot, looking at both versions it looks like it should fit and I’ll just have to buy the additional grille parts.
