Going through the menus in my Leon FR ST and found the 'automatic headlight control' with the options of early, medium or late. I've looked through the manual and found nothing there. Anyone have any ideas what this option does?

It sets when the Auto Lights, dipped beams come on.

For me in the UK I see it like this:
Early is a dull overcast day, or September - February
Late is when the street lights come on
Normal is somewhere in the middle

On mine it seems to make no difference what option I choose, the lights come on at least an hour before the street lights even when set to late.

No bad thing, the sensitivity of the light sensor for the auto lights on my Outlander phev is always slow/late, I notice most cars have their lights on before mine.
