Booked it in for repair of a dent that I believe happened when the recovery guy pushed the car. Thankfully AA are covering the £90 + vat and hit a milestone today

Finally fitted my Bilstein B4 rear shocks. Pretty easy job really once you've found and removed the 43,762 screws that hold the arch liner in:

Not that I've noticed, no. The back now feels lovely and firm again, I need to book a day off this week and get the fronts done.
Cool. Probably need to change my fronts sometime in the future as already misting

My 2018 Leon FR has only done 23k & the front nearside strut is already misting.
The service last Friday reported the battery condition as marginal - after 3-1/2 years! My previous Skoda vRS was on its original battery when sold at 7 years old.

Went for a walk to the seaside after dropping my car off at @East Yorkshire Retrofits for auto lights/wipers, full link and seat sound. Very happy with the new toys, especially seat sound! Great service and would highly recommend @East Yorkshire Retrofits anyone ?
Ooooh seat sound and a reversing camera are next on my hit list - need to get booked in with EYR. Could easily spend a fortune there, luckily I'd already got auto everything and full link, but I'd absolutely kill for the new style digital dash (mines the basic analogue, so don't think my mib unit is digital dash capable)

Is the seat sound as much of an improvement as everyone says?

It’s a big difference, I’ve not played with the audio settings yet either so I’d imagine there’s move room for improvement. The original system is good anyway but the extra centre speaker makes the sound so much shaper and crisp. The bass is a massive improvement too thanks to the sub. It really does sound like a completely new system, even though it’s only two speakers added

I prepared my set of summer wheels for the upcoming season, yes it's in my living room..
My garage has my bike and a mates parked in it.

Looks clean enough to be in the house, not sure many of us would be allowed to do it.

Wouldn't recommend Meguiar's hybrid for wheel protection. Won't last that long in an extremely dirty environment.
You should look into ceramic coatings, Carbon Collective Platinum wheels is a good option and is very easy to apply. You can get enough to do 4 wheels for £18.

Wheels will be ceramic coated later, once I do paint correction on the car. It will also be sealed later, have used Carpro Quartz in the past but will look into something new.

Ah fair enough.
I've used CarPro Wheel/Trim and it's pretty good, however I'll say that Platinum Wheels has an easier application and lasts a longer period of time(not distance).
I would strongly recommend you avoid Gtechniq C5, didn't last more than 6 months.

Ok cool I will try that, the car needs a lot of stone chip repairs so got my work cut out.
The full leather is in like new condition but I'm sure it's not real leather though.. doesn't bother me....
