Formentor recall

Hi all, was wandering if anyone has had the recall for the rear wheel carried out and how long it took?

Recall Description: It has been detected that, on Formentor vehicles, two rear left wheel supports have been manufactured and installed with air cavities. The defective wheel supports may fail prematurely and break. The wheel support possibly breaking could affect the vehicle’s driving stability and cause an accident risk.

Mine is a 2023 and is having it checked.

A quick way to check your car could be to go to https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history website as that shows outstanding recalls and mine was on there.

Sounds like a small batch of these got through inspection quite recently then. Probably only a very small amount of recent cars affected. I've certainly not seen anything about this anywhere.

Anyone seen / had fixed the 'hybrid fuse leading to a fire' recall? Not sure if all cars or a VIN range (as no VINS supplied).

Just checked my V2 (received early June 23) and detailed there was a recall. Contacted the dealer who advised a software upgrade was the only item but had no details of what the upgrade was for so do not know if safety related or just an upgrade.

Will ask again when they contact prior to my booking, and check what software version I am running.

Received the recall letter today and re-contacted the dealer to add it to the booking. Was not happy that I asked yesterday if any recalls on the vehicle and they just said only a software update required. Could not give an answer why it was not mentioned as was on the system.

Was that for the rear wheel recall? It’s very new I think

We had our car down it took nearly a year for them to do it as issues recall notice and they had not trained the dealer how to do it

Cheers for this, just checked using the link and says no outstanding recalls, so I guess mine should be ok
