PCV valve blowing air

Hello guys, this is my first time posting, I hope I'm in the correct place to post this. I have a Seat Leon 1p with the 1.8 TSI gen 1 engine and I just spotted air coming out of my PCV valve breather hole while idling. I've been on a lot of different forums and I can't figure out if this is normal or not. Any help is much appreciated.

No doesn't sound good. You might just need to replace the PCV, not sure if it's got an oil separator in that should stop oil coming out?

I've read that it shouldn't be pulling air, but I don't understand what it should be doing regarding that little hole next to the plastic cover.
