2024 Cupra Leon 300 - Fake Quad Pipes?

Currently considering buying one of the last few Mk4 Cupra 300s and have a question.

What's with the quad pipe set up? At certain elevated angles from the rear, you can see daylight in them. I spoke to a guy at my local dealer and he said they're not (the quads) connected to the system in front of them - what's going on there then?

Do you mean mk3, from ‘14-‘21? Mk3s have a full legit exhaust system, no fakery. Some of the mk4 Seat Leons and mk1 CUPRA Leons have fake exhausts.

Yes, referring to the outgoing MK4. You can look into the tailpipes and see daylight and the floor. Very odd!

Dunno about the car in question, but Mark 7 Golf R Estate is the same apparently; 2 of the quads (one each side) are fake
