Hi,

I have come across here as im really stumped.
Got this car as a small daily and it was all fine and then 1 night I had the PS(power steering light appear on dash and loss of PS. It was the yellow light.

Had it diagnosed the next day as 01309:004 Power steering conltrol module - No signal communication. We then did nothing as I went on holiday. Come back and light has now gone off.
So driving for a few days and then it comes back on the PS light on dash and loss of PS. Now it does this for the following 2 weeks where the PS is intermittent, coming and going.
We then decide to try another used battery. This then has the PS fault on the dash for 5 straight days.So I then go back and put the original battery I had with the car and the PS comes back. It then last for then next 2 days and then the yellow light has come back on the dash for PS. I'm so confused at it being so intermittent.

I'm thinking a brand new battery.
Nothing has been tested as in volts wise and all fuses.loo to be okay...

Maybe posting/searching in the Biza threads of the SEAT car forums will help, as this section is for meetings etc, not for faults, good luck.
