Leon Cupra ST300 4drive technical documents

Hi
Has anyone managed to get the full technical document out of Seat for this model?
It is a long document with the full spec and testing info for the model.

I need to get hold of it as I want to get my car reclassified for towing, but cannot do it without the full document. I have managed to get a technical sheet form them which basically lists the part numbers, but not the testing info.

Thanks

I requested my Certificate of Conformity from VAG - to check my emissions class, but It has my GVW and trailer max kg for my VIN.

No, the COC is 2 pages.

Guessing your Cupra will have nothing in the max towing limit? - but it's free to request this.

Thanks. Mine has 750kg limit, but the 2020 Cupra Leon 4drive has 1900kg.
Since my 2019 model is almost identical under skin to the facelift 2020 model, I am trying to get the relevant docs so I can request a reclassification from DVLa, but I have to get proof from Seat that they are basically the same car..

Can you post links to where you are getting this info about a Leon 5f with a towing capacity of 1900kg? As that'll help with drilling down what you're trying to achieve as I've never seen a 5f with 2.0 TSI with that high of a towing capacity in any of the documents.

Edited for clarity on specifics

Its not the 5F with the 1900kg, its the Cupra Leon (KL?) that has been certified for 1900kg.
That's my point, they didn't certify the 5F as they didn't think that anyone would ant to two, but obviously got so many enquiries that when they did the certification for the facelift 2020 car, which underneath is pretty much identical (engine, gearbox, suspension etc), so is more that capable of towing that, but needs to be certified.

You'll never get any official test data from Seat/VAG (in my humble!) - just the COP which I mentioned above.

Have you tried contacting VCA - and see if they can carry over the type approval to your VIN?

The Leon X-PERIENCE has a max towing limit of 2000kg - though that's diesel.

The 5f and KL are entirely different cars which are not interchangeable so you won't be able to get a 5f reclassified to match a KL, in spite of how "similar" the specs seem, here's why:

The KL isn't just a facelift of the 5f, the platform is different (MQB37W aka MQBevo on the KL, MQB on the 5f) and the platforms have the different steel types arranged differently so the chassis is vastly different between models in ways that aren't immediately obvious.

It's exactly the same as saying a 2020 MK8 golf is the same as a 2013 MK7 golf, which they obviously aren't in any way.

Yes there will be parts that are similar or based on MQB platform parts like the suspension layout but similar is not the same. The braking systems for both cars are fundamentally different for example. The KL uses an electromechanical system, its operation does not dependent on the engine's vacuum which means that, amongst other benefits, the pressure increases faster, which reduces the braking distance which will of course, impact towing capability.

Not to mention the improved/additional assist systems, increased speed of the on-board communication between modules reducing reaction time for said assist systems... the list goes on.
