Model Year 22/23 ‘My Cupra’

My current term with ‘My Cupra’ is coming to an end and, frankly, not sure it’s worth renewing?
I rarely use the app’ in any way at all, any navigation is usually via Google, tbh the infotainment is mostly used purely for radio and occasionally streaming via Amazon Music, I assume the radio will still play DAB, what exactly, apart from the odd update to the software do you get that would make it worth keeping?

Didn't renew myself and have not missed it. Unless you have a hybrid then it is of minimal use. I also use Waze for navigation which is better in my opinion then the built in maps. If your software is working fine and stable, then I can't see much benefit as the app was always hit and miss for working properly anyway I found.

Can always sign up in the future if there is a real need for a software update.

Cheers for the reply, you pretty much confirm my own thoughts tbh, software (???) has been pretty stable for a year or more now, plus there seems to be very few updates now anyway??

Mine runs out tomorrow and i'm not bothering to renew. As said I use waze for nav. I used the unlock the car feature on the app yesterday just to see if it worked!

Don't know if it's coincidence but I had an update yesterday that required the car to be vacant and locked for 30 minutes. It was an "important" update to enable future continuation of OTA updates. Left the car updating last night and this morning it said update completed. Then straight away another update appeared which only took 5 minutes while driving.

Just got software update 1988 OTA today and I don't have My Cupra subscription or app.
