I have rather stupidly scuffed the tailgate trim on my Formentor. I put my folding cycle in the boot but forgot to put sone padding between it and the tailgate, and it has made a bit of a mess of one of the tailgate trims (see picture). Anyone got a part number and procedure for replacement?

The part you're interested in must be the number 10 in the illustration below, the big one at the lower right, I believe.
There are four variants of it, depending on the build date and the tailgate type (manual or sensor-controlled)
If you send your VIN over to me via PM, I can tell you the exact part number.

Cheers,
Serdar

Bugger. It seems that you have to buy the entire thing. From looking at it, it looks like just the square panel is separate and could be replaced on it own. However, it is all one piece and £130. Bit pricey, but as the car is otherwise mint, it will bug me, so I'll get it done. So annoyed at myself for letting it happen. Just plain forgot to put the padding behind the bike. It is in the boot sat there so there is no excuse.
