Hi All
I’ve just purchased a 2014 seat Leon fr 184 tdi with 85000 miles one owner from new … and it’s an amazing car
I’ve owned a few Vauxhall and Ford diesels before and they’ve always done me proud as long as I maintain them
So this is my chance to own a legendary VAG 2.0 diesel since an 1999 VW sharan with the old PD engine (red I 😉) which I managed to get 185,000 miles out of driving around Europe with three kids and a wife ( amazing holidays) until the wife was taken out by a bus one afternoon. I’d probably still be driving it now 😭
Anyhoo anything to look out for?
I’m currently not getting heat in the cabin and the coolant light came on coming back from Leeds to the midlands last night … my suspicions of a knackered thermostat a good place to start … I hear heater matrix’s are a common fault though??

Welcome to SCN, try posting/searching the Leon threads of the SEAT car forums for more help, as not all members read this newbies section, good luck.
