Having a hobby that involves the countryside and walking boots there are times when I'm going to be getting in the wagon with footwear that's not minty clean so the Cupra supplied carpet mats are totally unsuitable. Cupra don't do rubber mats for RHD vehicles according to the accessory listings. After much searching I ordered a set of mats from CarMats4U.com, with a Michelin heel pad - circa £50. The mats came, look OK and fit the mounts at the front however they are almost smooth with a fine texture, truly aren't going to trap much water on a wet day, they are also fairly minimalist in size Close but no cigar!
Over the past 3 weeks I've watched a lot of YouTube videos (I've had a knee op and can't drive for 6 weeks) which have included reviews of the 2025 Audi Q3 SUV and have been able to confirm that the Audi is really close to the Terramar - same body shell - different tailgate, bonnet and bumpers, different dash and seats but sharing a lot of common components. The Q3 has proper accessory rubber (they are more like rubberised plastic) mats with deep grooves and shaped so as to retain fluids rather than have them run off and soak into the floor covering.
There is, of course, no way of knowing if the Q3 mats will fit the Terramar...other than buying a pair for the front - watch this space...£73.
