Hi all,
I have retrofitted the camera in the title and the image is showing after enabling the camera through coding. Dynamic lines work fine. I have contrast, saturation and brightness menus with which to adjust the camera view. From the outside the camera is like 0.5 degrees off from being perfectly horizontal (the mounting hole wasn't perfect) but in the picture it shows much more. I suspect because of the fish eye processing it does.
In other pictures of this camera being retrofitted in a golf 7 i see a lot more menus. This visual is not the best for me to park. I can make do for now but it's not ideal.

What am i missing? The camera was supposed to be already set to a Seat Leon mk3 5F but seller isn't replying.

My car is a pre-facelift leon estate. I have MIB2 STD2NAV.

I can provide whatever additional details you need.

Thank you all

It's impossible to set the camera to "seat leon 5f" as it was never offered as a factory option, meaning no dataset exists.

It's impossible to calibrate the camera properly, you have to use completely made up measurements which lands the guidelines in the completely the wrong place

The electrical connections are not moisture resistant, it's not designed to sit behind the bumper getting sprayed with road grime

Makes sense. I don't know why i hadn't thought of the connections. Luckily there are shields under the bumper but they are exposed yes. I had to modify the bumper a bit to make it fit so it makes sense it was not offered as an option. You made me really worried now.

One thing i have to say is that on the golf mk7 forums there was one person that was able to make it work right on a leon 5F. They had to use ODIS to flash the camera and calibrate it with those white sheets with lines and stuff. I can't find the link to it.

I'm not really sure how to proceed. Was there any option at all for highline cameras for the Leon 5F pre facelift? I feel like there should have been one given the segment. I can't believe they could option full led lights but not an rvc camera

It didn't work right, it just got rid of the error code. You cannot calibrate it correctly

The mk3 leon only ever came with a lowline camera

Yours is particularly bad, likely due to poor installation alignment - however none of them are good
