I have a MY22 Leon Mk4, and keep getting intermittant black screens on the camera (as per the attached image).
Dealerships are constistanty reporting that there is "no issue" with the camera and SEAT have not been much better.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and managed to get a resolution in the UK? I've seen recalls in the US for this, but apparantly there is nothing in the UK?

There are plenty of folks had software updates or cameras replaced for similar issues.

Thanks for letting me know. Apparantly all the software updates are done and none of the dealers i've been to have been particularly helpful with regards to the issue. Would appreciate anything anyone could help with!

No fault codes for a loss of communication with the camera?

My cheapo reader doesn't pick anything up.

Looking at at a print out i have from a scanner i can see which could be potentially related: U105400, U123100, U164300, U112100

U164300: Ethernet reversing camera system control unit, no communication

The camera itself could well be defective.

Thanks. That was my thinking also.

The model number/ when my vehicle was in build seems to match the recall in the US. Will try again with SEAT.

They don't sell Seat or Cupra vehicles in America and America recalls don't apply to the European market unfortunately.
