I have a 2015 Leon fr and when I turn the ignition off all lights go off apart from one at the back left which I think is a break light. Its led so I can't just change the bulb. I've taken the light housing out and cleaned it it doing the same. I've taken the light switch out and had a look at connections they seem fine. I have ordered another switch and will see if that does anything when it comes. Could it be a fuse?

This is a photo and when everything's off.

Was the Indicator / turn signal activated when you pulled up and switched off.

If not, was it activated to the left and is now acting as a parking light?

I don't know if it was when this started but Its been stuck for weeks and I've read about parking lights so tried the indicator on and off and nothing.

If you have access to a diagnostics device like OBD11, check "Live Data" on 09-Central Electrics. There should be two separate entries under "Brake Light Switch", one for HW, other for CAN, as you can see in the attached screenshot. Push/Release the brake pedal and see if both of those responds accordingly. This might give you an idea on where to look.

I've had a auto electrician out and scanned it would it have said if it was the brake light switch to him? He's said the bcm will need changing and said to try changing the light switch first.
