I bought a new Ibiza 1.0 MPI 2026 (it is the last version, not sure if it is a Mk6 or a new numbering is coming...) few days ago for my daughter.

Wish your daughter happy & fun drives with her new car.

Last update is a facelift so there should be no new numbering.

But there were exceptions to the rule:
The second generation Ibiza were produced between 1993 and 2002 and had revisions in 1996 and 1999.
That second revision in 1999 is known as Mk3, probably only in UK, so the car known as Mk6 around here is actually the fifth generation of the model.
