I have collected a Arona FR Sport 21 plate last Saturday from Johnsons Seat in Wigan. Love the car it is my second Arona. I am a Seat nut, 2x Leons, 2x Ibiza FR's, 2x Arona FR's now. By the way I am 76 and still love driving as long as I feel ok i will keep driving and any sign of getting doddery and I will pack in....lol

Welcome to SCN, hope your latest SEAT fits the bill, nice to see I am not the only old boy driver around.

I have just part ex’d this car now for a 75 plate Arona Fr in blue. The car is six months old but had very low mileage so it’s nearly new. Only problem I have is I can not reset the trip, it was easy on the sport but I have not managed it yet on this car. I do miss the street or road name that was displayed on the display, in this car it just seems to be a compass. But happy with the car Johnson’s at Wigan did me a good deal.

Congrats on yet another SEAT. Can you contact the dealer to find out how to reset the trip? There must be a way of doing it.

Probably some fiddling to get it to show the street names. It's a mib3 so pass on getting the street name to show.... but compass generally means you havent set a destination if like mib2. Set a destination and the compass will go but whether you can toggle on and off the type of information. Basically if its a setting its one of these things you do once and never change it.

I know in mib2 you can control whether the speech on directions gives you the road name or not. There is a level of information that it churps at you.... you can down size that.

Yes so I'm wondering whether you just need to set a destination to get rid of the world symbol. You can also get the map on the virtual cockpit display. Cycle through views. Think ours is set as classic. Mib2 has got a projection button on the infotainment screen that toggles that projection on and off. I know I have to toggle it back off the virtual cockpit to avoid moans.

Duck out of that mileage reset button the driver couldn't be bothered with it. Too fiddly so left alone for six years just using the range screen to gauge when it needs filling up.

On your street names Google AI has some pointers. I dont have mib3 / 4

You hit AI and it generates some pointers:
