Hi All

I was performing a scan of the car to check for any error codes and noticed both back doors failed to communicate with VCDS.

All functions work on both doors so I was wandering if anyone else has the same issue.

Thanks

How did you observe this failure?
Is there a fault code?

Hi,
I had a coolant warning light which has cleared so I was just giving the car a scan to check everything else.

Found by accident, no physical faults observed, I cannot even comminicate with the rear doors to check for a fault code.

If you expected to see control units for rear doors and thought there's a problem when you didn't see any, there's none for the rear doors. They are controlled by the ones in the front doors. Check live data on those for rear windows for example and you'll see that they are working.

Thank you for replying so quickly.
It only concerned me as VCDS reported a communication failure with the rear doors.
