Big delays on Raval deliveries in UK

I have the digital key in my wallet but will not unlock unless I press unlock in the app. My wife's phone with UWB and NFC works fine though.
Have you added the digital key to Samsung Wallet or Google Wallet though? As thats probably how the NFC option works. Maybe NFC works only with Samsung Wallet rn or vice versa for example, idk.
Yes, I have and Samsung wallet says NFC and BLE. My wife's said NFC, BLE and UWB and fully worked.
Maybe stupid question but did you actually just tap with your finger on the spot on the handle meanwhile keeping phone close?
More a general point but perhaps Cupra see them as singledom cars hence they have unbundled the costIf this was addressed to me I don't have this problem as I'm single and doubt it changes anytime soon.Wouldn't dare to let anyone else but myself drive this beauty!
. Coupledom you always carry each others, no longer the spare. It's Kessy thing so you just have them stuffed in your bag together so you grab the handles of each others. Seat was mean with the Arona that a live Kessy is only on the drivers side. Ateca both. Getting back to the car to sit in as a passenger wasn't seen as a design feature

Yep, on the Raval you push the front of the handled to open and tap tap back section to close. Which worked fine on my wife's phone with UWB but nothing on mine.

Driving this afternoon however, a couple of times a message popped up that the phone was Not Compatible. It didn't say what it wasn't compatible with and Google Maps/Android Auto kept going.
The car has asked I confirm who I am at each restart so far (only one user), which may become annoying!
Cupra have done the same thing with the new Born, which is promoted as a family hatch, so it looks like a general trend. If you look on the Raval price list (uk version) the origin comes with 2 physical keys rather than 1, I guess thats because it doesnt have the kessy options of the higher spec models.
I assume Cupra view the move to smart entry rather than by a key as the norm going forward and so one key is deemed as a default backup?

Buy one from Arnold Clark and u get two keys as their policy is to provide all cars with two keys
As far as I can tell, The ID.Polo comes with two keys as standard. Could this just be a Cupra thing.

Ummm, no, The phone probably won't work. Definitely in our case, we'd have to buy two new expensive phones!Probably the cost cutting one... use your phone.
Mind you, my dealer has just quoted £240 for a transmitter and key - well, that's only about a third of the price of one compatible phone.
It's only £90 / 100€ for an extra key regularly if you order one with the car so not end of the world, a ID. Polo is still significantly expensier. Personally I'm not going to get a spare fob as I will be the only driver and as positive thing i don't have to change the lithium battery in the 2nd fob (and with my sausage fingers break those tiny plastic clips inside eitherway...)
It's only £90.00 if you order it up front. I was unable to do that back in May as the option was not available.
I have just tried to order a second key today and I am quoted
£128.92 for the fob.
£111.24 for the key blade (to go with the fob)
£90.00 for coding the fob to the car.
There will be two of us driving the car, but there's no way I'm paying that much for a second key. We'll work around it.
And the ID.Polo launch edition is about £3000.00 cheaper than the Raval in the UK
Oh well, life goes on. My Raval should be ready for handover in about 10 days.
I think had only been possible through manual order via dealer, if it's one thing Cupra did bad thing with this launch is the configurator/different options, details about the trims etc, it's been quite confusing as a whole. I had been able to order one but had to put an order via email like I did with my custom spec VZ in early June as the configurators had lacked most of the options and neither was a basic VZ available to configure at that time either.
Interesting as far as the pricing goes, MEB+ pricing has been such a mystery to me how they vary so much between countries to another, here the ID.Polo is 500€ - 2000€ expensier than comparable Raval trims. But to continue giving an even more baffling example, I almost spit my coffee in my monitor when comparing germany's pricing on Cupra Raval VZ starting price versus Finnish one:

Maybe there are differences in the standard spec of the VZ in Finland and Germany that might explain some or all of the price difference?
That's what I thought too at first but nope... Also with a full specced VZ with for example Plasma color and sun roof and all the extra packs Rebel pack, drive pack and light and sound, infotainment, it comes across as ~47000€ so pretty much ~6000€ pricier compared to here.
EDIT: Even the bi-color option for black roof is +400€ like here as well.
We are blessed as customers for Raval in Finland, it's an easy recommendation here if comparing country by country pricing. Perhaps Germans are more inclined to do leasing deals and perhaps they have better offers for that, I don't know. In Finland we are strongly in for buying our cars still when it comes to the private customers, business is another story though. Although leasing has started to become more common also for private customers but it's nowhere near a common thing here yet. I would personally consider leasing option especially with EVs that are a bit more risk in how the aftermarket value drops if my mileage was greater, I drive very little so it's usually better for me to buy as the value doesn't drop as quickly as the cost for leasing is.
