hello, on my (only 9 months old) 2025 Seat Leon 1.5TSI 85kW I have strange problem with fuel level/range indication.
It started 3 weeks ago, when I filled up tank to full. The range correctly increased to cca 780km (there is no separate fuel level indication except of small horizontal line under range digits), but during following travel the range numbers slowly INCREASED instead of usual decreasing. After traveling of aprox. 150 km the range increased to 820 km (and the level line stayed at full). When travelling back next day, the range gradually decreased (faster than usual), but did not fall to corresponding values fully. Then next week I filled up to full (hoping that it resets it somehow), but situation repeated.
I put the car to authorized service (car is under warranty), explained the problem, but they told me that they must code problem to manufacturer to allow/agree them to replace fuel pump/level sender unit. But next day they informed me that acc.to manufacturer it could be software problem, and the fix is still not available. Hmmm, strange, 8 months it worked flawelessly and now the software fails? The only one fw car update (by air) was observed about half a year ago...
I have technical questions to someone familiar with fuel/electro systems of 2025 Leon:
1) Does the fuel pump/fuel lever sender has its own processor/is visible as unit in car diagnostics? Then could mentioned fw fix to be applicable to this fuel unit, or to whole car fw?
2) Can I ever use personal diagnostics (p.ex. OBD11) to see status / get error codes? Someone told me that 2025 Leons are locked, but I do not know the level of locking - I know that engine unit is sw locked to uprate from 85kW to 110kW (engine hw is reportedly the same for all new 1.5TSI evo2 variants)
3) Can I get electro schemas of my Leon somewhere?
4) Even service manual for my car would be fine...
