I just spotted that I'm missing a cover on one wheel one week after collecting the car. Are these trim specific parts?
The car is a Leon black edition, 2025.
I assume these are just plastic covers? If so it might cost me less to replace than the fuel to go back to the dealer.
This looks similar Amazon
How can I find the correct part number?

I find they tend to become dislodged if you get too close with the pressure washer, the pressure builds up behind them and forces them away from the top of the wheel bolt.

you can get them from Cox motor parts (site sponsor) here:

If you're looking to buy just one, not a 5-piece set, note that you're missing the one on the locking nut.
Its cover has a circle shape inside, not hexagon like others.
The covers for normal ones and the locking one are not interchangeable.

Maybe remove the same type, ie from another locking wheel bolt on another wheel, and looking inside it and you should find the part number, either buy online or via a SEAT or Audi dealership.

I'd suggest buying 2 of the locking bolt type caps and maybe 2 of the normal bolt type - to keep as spares.

Edit:- one thing maybe to watch out for is, while all/any sets for sale will fit, the colour/texture of them might not be the same as your ones unless you use the complete part number that is on your ones.

Another Edit:- so for your car security (locking) wheel bolt cover p/n = 4M0 601 173 C 9B9 (Satin Black)

For the normal wheel bolt covers p/n = 4M0 601 173 E 9B9 (Satin Black)

Edited to change "VW Group dealership" to "SEAT or Audi dealership".

Thanks RUM4MO. I haven't lost any 'yet' but one covering one of the locking bolts has dropped off a couple of times when washing the car (luckily i have seen it both times) Ill make a note of the numbers and get some spares.

These VW Group caps do have a nasty habit of randomly falling off; just have a look at Golf/Leons/A3s etc advertised on line and see how many have caps missing.
Bizarrely ours lasted 5 years without a problem and then in the space of a couple of months most off them had disappeared.
In my case it wasn't a jet wash issue either.

I lost a couple of caps from the locking wheel bolts on a previous VW. The caps on the normal (non-locking) bolts were a tight fit but not the ones on the locking bolts (they had a different internal profile to fit over the locking bolt), so I stuck some tape around the inside of those caps to remove any free play / looseness; they never moved or worked loose after that and only came off if I physically removed them.

So the normal ones exactly match the part number you said, thank you. The locking looks to be 4MO 601 773 C TW3 which I've not found online yet.
I'll see if I can find the 773 part, but will probably use the numbers you posted.
Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure what the TW3 is referring to, might just be the company/factory that makes them, so maybe just risk using the part numbers by themselves and leave out the TW3.

Edit:- remember that a part listed as for an Audi even A1 that has the correct part number is exactly the same item - as you can see on your caps, they both have the Audi roundels. Maybe best plan is to find out the correct price for both these types of caps from your nearest SEAT or Audi dealership parts department - just hand over the part number especially if phoning/visiting an Audi parts department, as they are prone to not sell you parts for their cars when you say that you are going to use them on a SEAT - I can understand that as they are only protecting themselves from selling you "Audi" parts for fitting to a SEAT.

I had the same problem with the previous MK4 and they kept randomly coming off/lost. I read on this site someone putting a strip of insulation tape round the inside face (on both types of cover) and problem solved. Never lost another one and when it went for service I took them off beforehand.

It might have been me - I can remember posting about the insulating tape fix on a forum; not sure if it was this forum though.

You may try Temu....

(I bought from Taobao, 20 caps for less than £0.60 !!! But you have to be able to read Chinese, and need to arrange for international shipment yourself.)
