Formentor dashboard display error?

Hi

73 reg VZ2 Formentor.

Not sure if I’ve adjusted one of the display settings in error or if it’s fault?

Top centre of display is a grey box (photo below) that has appeared, hiding some other details. The only message that comes up in there is “foot off accelerator” when required.

Other than that, it’s blank. Have had car 2 years and only recently has this popped up.

Any ideas?

Try turning off the driver assistance settings, see if that clears the box?

Can you indulge me and explain exactly what you mean and how I do that please?

Disconnect the battery for half an hour then take the car for a drive, see what happens.

If the above doesn't cure it, I assume its Driver Alerts/(three dots to expand menu) Eco Assistance and switch it off. Worth a try if disconnecting the battery doesn't work?
