Hybrid makes an odd noise passing through about 30 km/h.

There a noise my 2021 hybrid Leon makes going through about 30 km/h, in both directions. It's a short electronic sounding whoop noise. It's made it since day 1. I'm sure it's a normal noise for the car. I just don't know what it is and that's driving me bananas.

It is by law the car needs to produce noise when you drive below 30kmh. The car has an exterior speaker that produces noise. So pedestrians can hear you.
This speaker is often mounted behind the front fascia.

Yeah, I don't think that's it. I'm in Australia, we don't have that law. The car is completely silent most of the time. The whoop only lasts for a second.

I *wish* we had that law. I'd love to play around with the noise it makes. Mostly stuff from cartoons.

Off topic - My car does make that noise but I don't know how possible it is to play around with it.
I'd like my car to make the noise from KITT from the old Knight Rider TV series...
