Thanks mate, if you could find it that would be amazing. You will have to PM me with how much you want for it :)

how much did that cost you? been looking at doing mine and cant find a local place!
I used Rimtec UK, they're based just down the road from pristine in Woburn.

3bar!! yes that is why! The PD150 hybrid MD376 is only rated to run at a safe 1.9 bar, someone on UKMK4's run one at 2.1 bar and it didnt last very long!!

I ran mine at 2.6bar for 80k miles and it's now sitting in the shed in perfectly useable condition. It'll be going on my next PD car when I find it

Nice car fella but I'm confused about the boost pressure too.

I asked TD and they said 1.6-1.75 is safe but if I want to run 1.9 bar that's up to me but they wouldn't honour the warranty... They basically said any more than 1.9 is crazy and it won't last so I have no idea how you're apparently running 2.6-3 bar... Plus, at 1.9 bar I'm making 240bhp (AmD RR) so why is 2.6-3 bar needed even if it is true?

Cheers for the comments,
As for the boost pressure issue, I could get the needle to go off the end of my 30psi analogue gauge so went digital. Its been running like it for 50k+ miles and still going strong at that pressure.

For longevity and performance people run there 17/22 at a maximum of 1.9bar. The EGTs produced by these 17/22s is massive compared to other genuine big turbo setups. You also got to this about EMPS and surging low down.

I agree, but as longevity goes, was looking through the receipts the other day and the turbo was fitted at the beginning of 2008, so its done 3 years at the same boost pressure, admittedly I do have quite a big boost leak at the min, but the MAP is still reading 37psi..

ha ha thanks, they do look very similar :D its a nightmare to keep clean, not only do I have the normal 'yellow' issues (insects mistake it for a flower,dust seems to be magnetically attracted to it) but whenever I go near the go pedal, it throws out so much soot that the back is filthy within 10 seconds lol

Update time.. Been doing bits and bobs over the last few weeks and thought I'd get this updates as I have uploaded the pics,
So here goes;
Got busy a few weekends ago as I was sick of looking inside the engine bay and seeing the evidence of of the EGR valve blowing itself to pieces a long time ago, also as the bumper seemed to be not sitting correctly from the last time I removed it, that was the first thing to come off along with the headlights

Next up are a few 'in progress' shots of me slowly stripping bits off the car;

The whole boost run was eventually removed so I could take into work for cleaning.

The pure amount of filth that has built up over the cars short life;

Once all the bits were out of the way, I broke out the steam cleaner:

A quick couple of 'Before' shots, showing the extent of the dirt down the side of the engine bay;

After a lot of steam, Megs APC and elbow grease, I managed to achieve this. Far from perfect and will eventually need going over again. the second and third shots showing a bit of rust poking through from the seam welding that took place from where the engine mounting turret physically snapped off the chassis. This will be primed and resprayed in due course.

All the boost pipework off and ready for cleaning;

Also removed this pipe, its the Turbo outlet pip to FMIC inlet pipe, it is looking a bit messy and will be getting changed over the coming weeks too.

While all the pipework was off the car, I decided to get some of it powdercoated, The black pipework was done by Rimtec UK in Woburn and the yellow was done by Unit 51 Powdercoaters in Milton Keynes.
