Almost certainly no. When i fitted 312mm disks i needed 17'' wheels to accomodate the calipers which go hand in hand with 312mm's

312mm brakes under 16" wheels, I borrowed the pic from Philsip in another thread. I don't think 15's will take them!

All depends on the shape of the wheel..

A 15" steel might just be ok whereas a 16" alloy might not, all because of their design.

Can you not get hold of a steel to try?

I've always used round wheels on my cars lol (only joking) but i know what you mean.
My pro race 1.2's need spacers to fit over my calipers but my pro race 3's have better clearance and therefore don't need spacers.

Pro race 1.2's are terrible for caliper clearance on the ibiza, i woulda needed a 15mm spacer to clear the ap's :|

Steels tend to have good diameter clearance and caliper width won't matter if your on about the tt calipers? Think it would be okay!

Not sure of off set but the width is a 7j.
I would prefer a 16'' wheel as the tyres are cheaper but not quite enough room with the tarox b32's
