cheers mate,

the majority that you see are in black, having said that i have clocked 3 other red facelifted FR's on my travels to work so i think now the prices are coming down more and more are out there

ballasts and bulbs are available for an additional £90 a side (Still £180 a corner which is bloody brilliant),

However i have been reliably informed that inorder for HID's to be street legal they have to be in a projector style headlamp which the standard cars dont have. so with a little help of a man who knows electrics the reconing is that we could use my current HID's in the projector style lamps. It's going to be a bit of a homebrew by the looks of it, or it could be easier than we think so there's only one way to find out ;)

HIDs don't have to be projector, my old 2007 Civic had HIDs with reflector and our current pre-facelift Qashqai has them with reflector too all standard.

On another note, really nice car!
Makes me think about getting an Ibiza instead of a Leon.

cheers much appreciated :), if your looking at the mk2 Leon buy it, they are very grown up, this the opposite but its very loveable lol

The new law surrounding hid's I believe is now entirely based upon the quality of the beam pattern so will make the above null and void, as of when it comes in i'll be speaking with a friendly mot tester to see what's what as there does appear to be some confusion atm

Doesn't your car already have the FR seats???

yep, but the mk5 seats are more comfortable and supportive than the mk4's (bigger side bolsters, should pads, deeper seat, generally better design) mk5 owners on here that used to own a mk4 have all said they are better to live with and more comfy day to day. I like the oem look as they will look authentic once they'be been installed which is the style I like :)

just the fronts left to do.... he "just" the fronts lol

the red stitching really looks good. Had to park me arse in them to "try them for size and they are more comfortable and see to lower more as well.

really really happy with them, chap even gave me the armrest as well, which has provisionally been sold already lol
