thought i wud update this as i've had a few things done since i signed up.

got myself a polished charge pipe for sum engine bling (thanks gb)
ditched the horrible k&n apollo for a huuuuge jetex cone filter
fitted a forge short shift
and removed the rear seats, parcel shelf and spare wheel for crail..... and they still remain in the hut lol

new wish list has been composed ;) but i'm only gonna give away a few of the details for now :p

after my clutch started to slip last time out at crail for the megameet i've decided to start saving for a sachs engineering clutch, jabbasport lightened flywheel & a limited slip diff of sum sort. hopefully i'll get all this bought and fitted for around the 2.2k mark

then its time to sort out the ride.... trying to corner hard is very scary when you have a cracked rear spring  i'm thinking weitec coilovers, solid front and rear top mounts and a strut brace for under the bonnet.

contemplating a yellow powder coated half cage as well as i have no intentions of replacing the rear seats and parcel shelf back in the car

then i'll be for a set of lightweight team dynamics pro race 1.2 wheels, thus getting rid of the heavy R8 reps.

and thats just for starters...... decided i'm gonna go all out and shed a bit more weight from the car

let the modifying commence....... one i've replace my inner and outer door seals as the rear carpet behind the drivers seat is like a swimming pool

car is now booked in for the 21st of October to have a lengthy list carried out

Sachs Engineering clutch
Slave cylinder
Master cylinder
Jabbasport flywheel
Quaife ATB diff

then once thats all bought n paid for i'll be saving for a tx autosports front mount intercooler and a set of weitec 40/40 springs & shocks

the garage thats doing the work on my car, GI Motorsport in Kilmarnock, are due to start doing Jabbasport remaps and have kindly asked if i would let them play around with the software on my car :) benefits of this are i'll have somewhere within 15mins that can map my car...... & i'll get a free map out of it :D role on stage 2 :funk:

Car will be a machine when the Diff is on mate transforms it so much! Gonna give GI a phone when i get my manifold back see if they fancy fitting it!

well guys......................

i recieved the phone call i've been waiting for after dropping my car off on wednesday
shes ready to be picked up :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

the 1st thing i was told when i answered the phone was "f*ck me it chatters like the big ends away on it!!" referring to the lightened SMF

can't wait to pick her up n get some miles on the clutch

Gary at GI motorsport says the car feels impressive when driving with sporty gear changes but is a bit jerky under slow driving. I'm sure I'll get used to it

Can't wait til I get it to knockhill next year. Then I'll see what the diff can really do

Im also thinking about getting mine onto knockhill at some point although i have no track day experiances i should probably go up and spectate before i try it

The only trackday experiance I have at knockhill is in a go kart
If I hadn't binned my clio 182 into a barrier I reckon I'd have plenty of it by now lol

Willie, its the quaife atb diff I ended up going for, was originally getting the pelequin diff but it was a 6week lead time before jabbasport got it, so I opted for the quaife one and it worked out cheaper too ;)

If money was no object I'd have went for the wavetrac....... Its the daddy of diffs supposedly but at nearly a grand before fitting compared with the really, really good price I managed to get my quaife one for I think I made the right choice. When every one thinks of diffs the 1st name that pops into their head is quaife so I thought.... I canny exactly go wrong with them lol

The wavetrac can be picked up for £680 but can totally see what your saying if you got a very good price. The wavetrac is the bomb, it will be good to compare
