Hi Guys,

found this conversion kit for the Tdi,

https://sslrelay.com/s74326199.onea...nid=1546156de847fad/shopdata/index.shopscript

found discs as well, just wondering if anyone has put the 312mm discs on with 16's??
I'd like to upgrade as the discs need changing anyway, but if I have to fork out ££££'s on 17" or 18"'s not worth it!! I've seen an FR on here with the upgrade discs and standard alloys so might fit???

Any suggestions??
Thanks Guys

They fit on 16"s, but might still depend on the wheel itself, and how much room it has underneath... And of course on the offset (the wheels in the pictures are et42 - with bigger offsets there shouldn't be any problems!)

Which wheels do you have?

Got the sport alloy's pictured so they should fit fine!:funk:

It is a close fit but that looks cool! Thanks for the pics!!

What size spacers are you running on the front? are you useing hubcentric ones?

if you have 256 front brakes (fsIII) then you need new hubs.

they do not need different calipers they are designed as 'plug and play' swap over to 312mm discs.

FSIII is the model name of the caliper for the non Sport brakes that need new bearing carriers etc.

So is that conclusive?
I can't just get away with these brackets to space the original calipers on my 130 out 12mm to fit 312 discs?

As Sisson and Gaz have said, the calipers are a different make and design so they dont just swap over.

The original caliper is on the left (Lucus) the 312mm is on the right (ATE)
