I'v already done a serch and could not find anything.

I'v been thinking about getting an indution kit for my Ibiza Cupra R (2002)

Is there much point?
Dose the engine work well with them or dose the engine not like them?

Should i get one?

have you searched right? There should be LOADS of topics on this!

Peple would suggest Green Cotten or Dynatwist or something like that! But i'll wait for a cupra owner to come along and confirm

I will be doing something different if i go ahead with it. I really just do not want to do any damage to my engine.

I would prob be doing something like this. This is the one i had in my HR-V.

I've got a Jetex on mine, and have my Dynatwist for sale, no real difference between them tbh.

Cheers.

So if i go ahead with it. There is a good chance of the engine getting damaged.

But my car has only done 40000 so it should be fine for as long as i have the car lol.

So think i might just go for it.

i wouldn't worry too much about heatsoak seeing as the air is being drawn into a red hot turbo anyway...

I can't see how an air filter can damage your engine, only your maf.

Heatsoak is only really an issue on NA cars. What do you think your intercooler is for?

As for damaging your MAF, this only ever occurs if the filter has been soaked in too much oil.

Lots of people (including myself) have recently gone for a Jetex (JR) cone filter with an elbow connecting to a Forge TIP (search for Jetex cone filters) and I believe PhilW and/or Benny have logged good results with these.
