vibrates when the turbo kicks in

I had this issue on mine

Its the intercooler pipe vibrating against the fuel filter housing

Go to B&Q or somewhere similar and get a piece of foam pipe insulation and attach it to the pipe with a cable tie so that that foam is round the pipe and between the pipe and the filter housing

I read about some people cable tie'n the pipe away from it but think it may cause the pipe to come off as the pipes designed to have some flex in it

I had exactly the same problem with mine (sounded like a mechanical noise!) A bit of pipe insulation and a few cable ties around the boost pipe sorted it

Aye, stopped it and its alot quieter now. Especially when going up hills when the turbos really working

Pipe insulation stays there aswell and doesnt move which is perfect

credit to muddyboots for the fix.

That must be what I'm hearing on mine! Any chance someone can get some pics or more detailed description of where I'm suppose to be looking as I had my head in the engine bay for an hour today and couldn't find where you mean.
