Hello there,
I installed dayline Dectane head light units before yesterday and I am finding a problem with the alignment of the lenses.
They use H1 bulbs and I have H1 5000K bulbs installed in them. When you get out of the car and look at the ground, the cutoff is good, I suppose (two Vs):
However, where they are pointing is messed up:
I've tried using the allen keys more than one time and I adjusted the straight lines perfectly but the far right is pretty horrible. I honestly don't know what's up with it and I am pretty sure that it's not a problem that can be fixed with the allen keys because I've tried. I feel like there's something wrong with the bulbs themselves. It may be the lenses, but that would be a shame because Dectane supposedly does decent head light units and I've paid a lot for them.
What do you guys think is the issue? Am I thinking too much about this? Is that, perhaps, how they're supposed to look like (although I highly, HIGHLY doubt it). I have been having alignment issues ever since the very first time I installed HIDs in my stock, reflector head lights and they have never been fixed since then, even after I tried retrofitting lenses in the OEM head lights and then eventually buying ones by Dectane. I am already extremely frustrated and I don't know what to do. No one over here that I went to is able to help me, and of course the guys that got me the head lights see nothing wrong with the alignment and claim that's how it's supposed to be.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please? What else can I try? Removing and refitting the bulbs? Fitting different ones?
Thanks a lot and sorry for the long *ss post.
