Stumbled on a very good offer of new Philips 5 DRL Daytime LEDs on the Bay and could not resist the temptation.
Finally after a car-wash i got around mounting the kit. Build quality is robust and the kit itself is designed very good, easy to install and includes all needed parts.
Looking at the car now from the front with this new PHILIPS DRL mounted i can see how my OEM xenon look yellowish, need to upgrade to 6000K D1S bulbs :cry:
Found that Philips is producing D1S bulbs with 6000k so they should match the 6000k DRL kit perfect.

Had several thoughts on mounting the kit but as this is Philips i think it is something that could be seen as cool and not gay. The positioning should make the car stand out in traffic, if not the extreme strong light from the DRL LEDs should...

Personaly, I think DRL's sould be only on when the lights are off. Its easy to do the wiring for that and you don't have to care about color diferences...

Thanks, but the Philips kit that i have has the function of automatically switching off the DRL if headlight are on. But i disabled it.
