Nice looking car.
I purchased a 210 LCR last August in the same colour with Recaros and have been well happy with it so far.
I have only applied a couple of basic mods but I'm sure there will be others that follow, such as DV and maybe a bit of ICE.

The whole point is it wasn't all going to be in cash i wanted to pay some by Building Society cheque which cannot bounce and cannot be cancelled once it is issued.
He wanted ALL the money to be in cash.
He also didn't have the log book because he reckons the finance company still had it and he was waiting for them to give it him back, i was NOT going to do the deal anyway until he had received the logbook back from the finance company.
Just as a sidenote i have NEVER heard of a finance company keeping the logbook when you take a car.

The buyer of my old car had a cheque from his bank, I made sure we both went to my bank (and his Bank as it turned out) during bank opening hours.
The banks were pretty useless although his Bank (Barclays) did check his account and could verify that a cheque for that amount had been drawn on his account...that was good enough for me.
Infact the guy buying it was very sympathetic as his mate had an EVO 6 stolen with a dodgy Bankers Draft.

It's always worth checking for outstanding finance on a vehicle anyway, but that can be done over the phone for a small fee.
