so much confusion over the best oil to get, whats peoples opinions for a seat leon cupra r - 80k miles: Mobil1 5w-30 or 0w-40 living in the uk. as far as i can se 0w-40 definitely meets the builder approval, but so does the 5w-30.. go for the cheapest ? :)...

Searched but didn't find anything conclusive on this. I'm gonna change the oil in my Leon Cupra TDi 150 but don't know which to get A mate can get some Castrol Edge 5w30 for £36 (it's £45 at Halfords) but I'm not sure if it's suitable as the Halfords website only lists Castrol Edge 5w40...
