Wil mk2 seat belts fit a mk3 ibiza? i am 90% sure thay will but has anyone done this?:confused::confused:

Hi, im new to the forum and have just recently got my seat leon 1.9 TDI SE 110. I really like and its a real step up from every other car Ive ever owned (two different MK3 VW Golfs :rolleyes:). Anyway, the car is a 2004 53, and done 52K miles. I didnt realise the cam belt needs changing...

When my car is idling i have a sort of squeaking sound. I think its the auxillery belts thats the problem. Anyway to fix it? Or should i just change the belts and should that get rid of it? Cheers, Craig.

just a word of warning just had to have my cam belt done because of the plastic falling off the cam tensioner and it jumping 3 teeth did not smash anything so i am going to put the lotto on tomorrow and get me a new tdi with the winnings:funk:

I have a Cordoba SX 1997 but the rear seat belts aren't long enough to go round a car seat! I was wondering if there was one that was a straight swap but it is longer say from an ibiza/toledo/polo etc. Or would this type of thing from ebay work...

Hi What versions of mk2 have red seat belts ? In mk3 it was only Cupra R ....

about a year ago my front seat belts were replaced under warranty because they took about a week to retract. Warranty is now up and guess whats steadily been getting worse? any quick fixes or adjustments that can be made as I can't imagine how much they would skin me for a new set!

hello chaps i notice there is a third belt. One is the timing belt, the other is auxillary drive belt, whats the third one, goes round two wheels behind driver side wheel. i wanted to to change mine as its squeeking alot. Thanks

hey, i need to take all my seat belts out, because i dont need them. the middle back seat belt is easy enough, but its the two side ones :S. i dont want to cut the material, but i will do as a last resort.. so please can someone give me ideas to how to get the front and back seat belts out...
