crunching

any ideas guys, coming to standstill on braking, light or heavy and the pads seem to crunch as in stop biting and lock slightly, doesnt do it all the time. only on drivers side it feels like aswell.. i can feel the noise if you like through the pedal aswell?? :think:

Hi All, Every so often, maybe couple of times a month I crunch my gears by bringing up the clutch too soon when the gears not fully in, basically just being lazy with my changes when trying to change gear fast! Was just wondering if it's doing any harm at all besides being embarrasing lol...

Theres like a clicking / crunching when I press the clutch slowly, it's fine is i press it quickly. Its coming from the inside of the car but it's pitch black outside and I havent got a decent torch. Is there anything attached to the clutch pedal that could be making the noise?
