disks

hi all thinking of buying some ebc yellow stuff pads and disks and was wondering if they are easy to change or is it worth the £70 not to do it. also dose any one have a idiots gide how to? many thanks martin

Ive done the front disks and pads they were a doodle to do come to do the rear discs and pads having trouble taking the bolts off that holds the caliper any ideas i was thinking of heating the bolt up then trying . And the screw that holds the disk on having trouble taking that off cheers

Did a service at the weekend and checked the brakes... the disks are looking pretty worn so I want to replace the whole lot once the pads are dead (not long)... now my LC does around 18k miles PA so I dont want to go mad with expensive brakes as it spends most of its time on the motorway...

looking on ebay found set of mintex rear braks disks and pads for all none quattro models. looked up parts on etka and same pad numbers for mine and tt bar the tt have a b infront off the number ie tt pads are b 1j0 689 451 j ibiza 1j0 689 451j can someone confirm that these are the same set...

Anyone used the ATE brand for disk and pads on a LCR. Eurocarparts only charge about £42 for the front discs. Regards.
