smelly

As my car has got older (last 2 years especially) the exhaust smell is pretty noxious. Passing mot fine. May be normal for a diesel just seems like it is worse now it is old. No smoke. Any ideas/ similar experience? thanks

I've had this problem for some time, i live in hot Saudi Arabia so i badly need the A/C i've asked the dealer and they didn't have a solution as they said MK1 Leons suffer from that ... when i change the A/C filter it goes away for about 2 weeks and then comes back...Help.

Well, climate control actually. All OK when it is on A/C but as soon as I switch to ECON mode afterwards it smells. Has anyone had the same problem and tried one of the DIY odour kits from halfords. Any good? And if so where is the intake for the climate control on and Altea? Thanks

Hi All I have had a weird smell from m y air con for the last few weeks. I have now noticed it only smells, like wet dogs!, if i have the air con on and i use the window jets, this will normally smell for a while and then go, doesnt do it if its raining, just when i use the windows washers...

Ive tried taking the bottle out and getting rid of all the smeg attached to the sides, this worked and the bottle is now fresh, the motor is good and fresh too, but its still standing in the pipes i think, as when i squirt it, it smells bad! like sulfur and stagnant water. Briskoda say bleach...

When first starting up the car, the inital blast from the climate control absolutely stinks! Is there something I can do about it myself, or does it need to go to a dealer??
