I'm planning on putting gas struts on the bonnet of my Leon. Apparently Cordobas have gas struts that fit, however are they from the bonnet or the boot. Could someone tell me whether Cordobas have struts for the bonnet, if not then I have my answer of which struts to use cheers L

Coming from an old Saab 9000 I'm missing the gas struts for supporting the bonnet. Does anyone know what size struts would be needed and where they can be fitted to the bonnet? cheers, andrew

Im looking to get some new boot struts for the Ibiza but im not going to Seat to be ripped off! I cant find anyone like GSF who provide patent parts, are they the same as say a mk2 Golf or mk4 Polo? Cheers

OK...I've bought the tool for releasing the strut from the hub, but is there a special tool to help undo the top mounting nut ? Are they an outer nut with a hex socket in the end of the damper rod ? If so I've learnt my lesson before - a socket held as tightly as possible with molegrips and...
