Over the past couple of months my Ibiza (110bhp) had been going into limp mode more and more frequently. After searching through the forums I performed the following;

i went into the engine block then basic settings and ran group 11, but the car's rpm didnt go upto 1400rpm, as some people have said, it just stayed at idle with the display showing duty cycle and the on of cycle. does this mean it worked? also how long should i run it for?
If anybody out there has had the sticking vnt problem tell us at what mileage this started to happen and what did you do to rectify it.
This will be good info for all of us.

OK, i have a new turbo VNT 20 from a V6 TDI.
question is, what do i need to put the turbo on the car?, big IC ( how big ), silicon hoses, cluck......

On the Passat PDs the turbo and VNT mechanism is at the front and side of the engine, exposed to road spray, salt etc that gets through the radiator. I wondered if this would cause the actuator linkage to get a bit sticky over time.
