I only paid £32 for the Dianeshop ones on ebay about 4 years ago. They are all look very similar with just the boxes changing etc.. You'll pay more for the newer slimmer ballasts. Never even had to change the bulbs in mine, even though I bought a spare set . Passed MOT's fine with no probs either. Although word of warning the new MOT rules next year may mean you have to remove them for the test. You can always refit them afterwards. Makes a hell of a difference over the standard candles.

Yeah, the last set I had I paid £60 and they were cheap at the time.

I know they're cheap from China, but these are UK based too so no long shipping!

Took 5 days if I recall but yeah for that price might as well buy from the UK. Easier for returns if needed.

Tbh mate, I paid £60 for mine thinking they would be better quality and found the same set on eBay for £30. I got the h7r 50w 6000k set. Theyve been on the car for nearly 2 years now and no problems at all :D

New MOT rules is aloud balls, I reckon any reasonable garage like my local one I use often wouldnt even bother with the hids

how do they wire up? any cutting of original loom? or do they plug into the wiring loom which would normally fit onto the bulb terminals?
