if your going to get a "wooshy" dv get a forge split r. complete atmospheric dv's can cause engine management lights, limp mode and other issues.

forge will give you some noise but will also recirculate and can be adjusted to be stiff or soft to suite the remap you get if you get 1! if you really want full noise you can change the forge to do this but even they say not to in there instructions

turbosmart one is a dual port aswell mate same as the forge but ive read its a bit louder and has a bit of a different noise. :D

and now for the rest of you power crazy lot.

wouldnt it be better to get a good base sorted first with the fmic and things then maybe save up and get remap in a few months so it can be mapped properly to all the mods other than adding things in and maybe having to get it tweaked.

and seanyk it would be amd in lakeside id be going to get the map they do the revo local to me. [B)]

You and me both matey ;) They have 10% off this Sunday if your interested dude, I will be calling them tommorow to see if they can fit me in mid day!

Although, I am still confused to whether AMD or Revo is the way forward... Ahhhh! Throw Custom Code in there and its a big dilemma!

Have you got other mods like exhaust, filter etc? As some say it's best to get a custom map rather than a generic revo if you have, but then I don't know myself so I couldn't say!

Revo is *most* tempting so far...

That this sunday the 22nd.

Im down there then they got a rolling road day on.

Taking a fly down there with my mate to go and do a bit of spectating.

10% off makes it even more inviting.lol
i like the revo map done the free trial like the power delivery kinda in one go from about 3k

So far i got cat back exhaust, forge tip, pipercross filter untill i get a jetex one ,007p.

thats why i was thinking about getting all the other stuff sorted before mapping didnt want to have the bother and hasstle of upsetting anything by adding more on later you no how fussy the ecu's can be.

if your coming down this sunday may see you there.

first thought it map it.

however, instead of mapping it, then getting FMIC at later date etc then mapping again, why not get FMIC, exhaust (if you don't have one) and DV, TIP and Induction Kit, then just go straight for a stage 2 map ;)

Save a bit of cash that way

did you read the thread. :p

got cat back exhaust, tip, inductionkit, sorted got 07p on there already but want more noise hence the turbosmart.

havent you got to have at least a turbo back for satge 2 and the ko3s with a fpr..?

but thats what i was thinking get the base sorted then just map it from there.
