Hi guys can anyone tell me what the best 0-60 time is for the standard Cupra R both 210 and 225?

I've recently bought a Cupra R and timed the 0-60 the other day at 6 secs. I'm not sure if it's been remapped but has a K&N filter and Forge re-circ DV.

What kind of 0-60 are remapped Cupra R's getting?

Cheers :)

More accurate is what boost are you reading?

Haven't got a boost guage yet as only just picked up the car but will get one next month and see what it's doing. What is the standard boost meant to be?

And how are you timing this?

Recorded the speedo on camera and it comes up as 6 secs to 60. I know it's not the most accurate way but gives a rough idea.

I've watched some 0-60 videos of remapped Cupra R's and they seem to be getting the times between 5.2 and 5.6.

0-60 on a front wheel drive car is pointless, its all about 0-100 and a remapped lcr will be much quicker than a standard one.

If you're recording to 60 on the speedo, you're not actually getting to 60 miles an hour, it's more likely 55-ish. Then again, if you're comparing your '0-60' to other video footage, then you're comparing like for like as neither of you are getting to 60! :)

I kind of agree with sambryant though, 0-60 is as much the driver getting the power down right and being quick with the gear shift as it is the car itself being quick. 0-100 would give you a much better view on what power you have. But then you won't have as many comparisons available as not everyone can legally do a 0-100.

Good point on the speedo not being accurate!

So what times are remapped e.g stage 1 Cupra R getting 0-100?
