Hi Guys,

Looking for quick piece of advice.

My cars an Irish spec'd 2006 Cordoba 1.4 TDi Sport. Recently the ABS and TCS lights have stayed on constantly giving no traction or ABS functions. Did the normal searching on here and concluded I need to replace the ABS sensor or at least try cleaning the current one first.

To get the correct side I did an scan with VCDS Lite and got the following code

Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 6Q0-907-37x-ABS.LBL
Controller: 6Q0 907 379 AB
Component: MABS 8.0 front H03 0001
Coding: 0000008
Shop #: WSC 06403
VCID: 7D8D7AF764E9
1 Fault Found:
00283 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor; Front Left (G47)
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit

The bits I need advice on is Front Left (G47) n/side or o/side as I don't know if it's left from inside or looking from outside the car (if that makes sense).

The other thing is the 012 code, does it mean a specific fault i.e the sensor or something else?

Thanks in advance for looking and any replies. Always appreciate the time and input from all on this site.

Off to search for a price and proper guide on this site. A few I've read elsewhere online are missing steps and or contradict each other.

seatcupra.net knows best.

I have a similar fault but it's the rear left. Any ideas how easy it is to repair? Can i or am I able to do it myself?

Ray
