1.4 TSI 125 remap

Hey guys

I'm looking at remapping my car and seen that celtic tuning are claiming on getting 185bhp from a stage 1 remap.

Does this seem like too much of a power jump?

They can claim what they like. But the only way to know is to get it on an independent rolling road before and after.

Most claims are in the 150-160 bracket. Racechip go 162.

Suspect 185 is a mis-type on the website. Indeed its almost bang-on Racechip's numbers tuning for the 1.4 TSI 150.

I know this is an old post but your turbo will go bang, my 150 is at 180, my pals 125 is at 162.
