Whilst it mnight fit with some tweaks you need to ask yourself if there is an excess of cold air coming up from by the wing. On the mk5 platform (Golf/octavia/leon) there is hence why the twintakes work so well.

You dont know if the Ibiza plafrorm does. However what if they could do a twintake and instead of it connecting to the wing, you could fit ducting on the end of the second filter and run it down to the grill below the number plate.

I can see where the 2nd filter connects to but as you said would need some custom piping

would it not be just as benificial to fit a bigger box or bigger open cone rather than having two?
i think the filter that forge have designed for the mk5 cupra could do with another bend so its facing towards the front of the car.

+1. that flexible ducting looks crap. i prefer the look of the ITG personally, although still has the ducting

Does it give much advantage? surely with 500 bhp you will want bigger tubing.

Im new to fluid mechanics but im sure by keeping the pipes at the same diameter past the intake then you limit the maximum flow.

Like having a HUGE funnel but end of the day the tube will only carry so much air. I think its a bit of a snake oil mod tbh.

also having seen a broken down version of the engine 500 Bhp will make it go bang, and WHAT a bang, I think it would be cheaper to just change the engine lol

Just to update this thread yea i did fit the Twin intake on the tsi engine.

I take my hat off to this guy, If I had the money or more-so the skill, I'd have a crack myself. Without people like this we'd still be on horse and cart. Having said that, 500bhp is just stupid in a front wheel drive car so a conversion would be a must, but then for the cost of all this he might aswell done a transplant into an Audi A3 which would give him more space in the engine bay.

Or try and twin-charge the 2.0TFSi.

What are you talking about??? Pointless?? Is Forge Stupid to build this kit? is it for no reason? Please guys look up things before writing comments like this! The are reasons in to y the filter is build and design like that and one of them is cold air, but some people just lack the knowledge
