I saw the RED LEON u mentioned, it is an FR (Cupras 1.8T 180BHp).
I got my koni kit at last; i shall fit it next week. i have the pic for the kit, it took the whole boot space to put it in.

am not quite sure about ma BHP ... i heared that mine is 104 ..... there are alot of talks about the 1.6 motors ..... i heared (101,102,104 and now 105 )

1.6 8V SR is puttin 100Bhp exactly. It is commercially 101Bhp. the same 8V motor with some different types of injection would place 102 or 103 Bhp as in the VW Beetle or the New Octavia A5.
with a nice induction kit like K&N or other aftermarket filters u can improve the throttle response and increase Bhp a bit like 3 or 4 Bhp.
for the 1.6 16V used in later models of the LEON and std in the AUDI A3 old shape. The new 1.6 16Vfor the VAG group is the one currently being used int he platform of the new GOLF5; it is FSI with 113-115 Bhp, yet wont be put in the new SEAT LEON?

hey AMR ...wts ur car top speed??? and DAZ also wts ur top speed??? and if anyone know somebody has 1.6 8v automatic transmission plzzz let me know his car top speed .. coz mine i 5 days ago i tried it not exceeding 180/185 km/h (by the way mine is AUT.) and i was havin a toledo 1.6 8v but manual transmission .. i hit 210 km/h .. so i wanna know automatic top speed??

I got 200Km/hr once, didnt go more than that actually. it can put up unitl 205/210.. I think after i fit the KONI it shall do better in the aerodyamic resistance and reach more top end easily with bigger rims and lowered chasis.

no ... i think AMR ... after the koni kit and the 17'' wheels .. it wont go over 200 i think these stuff will make it heavir.. i think ya3ny .... and AMR do u have a FABIA REAR WIPER?

Question From Leon 1.6 Owner in Bolton
Hello Folks,
What should I be expected to pay for a good set of new brake discs front, and back on my 2002 Leon 1.6.
So far I've been quoted £300 from the Dealers in Bury, and £205 from Thistlethwaite Tyres.
While I'm on, my Exhaust Gas Release Valve is faulty, and needs replacing. I've been waiting for the part since the 5th May - not the dealers fault. Seat made a **** up with its stock supply, and its had to reorder from the factory.
The worrying thing is the high pollution light's constantly on now Will this damage the engine, or cat?.

1st of all i dunno how much is the disc's in bolton coz am livin away from bolton.....i think the exh. valve must be replaced .. coz it will damage the catalizer...and if the catalizer damaged it will make the car power so much weaker ... and i think the catalizer is so expensive
