Hopefully KOOOPERs will sort it, though they seem like more of a family runs sales operation, regret not taking it to a bigger outfit who are more likely to have seen this before.

Not necessarily true, again back to my problem, they had it diagnosed and fixed within a day. The garage I took it to before (part of the Spire group) had it overnight and couldn't find the fault.

Should have got an FR to start with, though I know of a few faults with them. I'd happily take an 1.9 TDI 130 if they still did them, at least they were old enough to have had the faults ironed out (and more economical).

SEAT Assist are great. Bought it used (though from a franchise), suprised they're as accommodating as they are with people who didn't buy new.

Any news about your car yet, Sergio?

They got back to me today. Wiring fault, sounds like a build defect. They weren't very specific but it sounds like there was a lot of loose wires, some of which hadn't even been soldered. They've fixed it and getting it back tomorrow. Bit of a joke really.
