Haynes Mk4 Golf is pretty handy - it covers the 1.8T.

The Bentley book on the Mk4 Golf covers it all in immense detail (soemtimes too much). You pay more for it (£50 from Amazon), but it's a worthwhile investment IMO.

Had a look at amazon.com but found a dusin different golf/jetta books, do you have a part.number for the spesific one?
