1.8t cupra r rev limiter

Anyone on here got a rev limiter on there 1.8t cupra or cupra r? if so how do u get it? is it sumthing that can me mapped into the ecu or what?

It is a preset value in the ecu but mappers can change it

Its a soft limiter set at 6800 where the ECU closes the throttle. There is a hard limiter which is more like a "regular" limiter and that kicks in around 7000-7200 iirc.

Yeah they can raise the soft limiter point when it gets remapped.
